BePink-Bongioanni ready for the Alfredo Binda Trophy – Municipality of Cittiglio

BePink-Bongioanni continues quickly towards spring, with a very rich competition calendar which, once the trips to Central America and Belgium have concluded, will lead her to compete again in Italy, in another UCI Women’s World Tour category event.

On Sunday 17 March the Lombard team will be at the start of the Alfredo Binda Trophy – Municipality of Cittiglio
(1.WWT), the great classic of the first part of the season which will start from Maccagno con Pino and Veddasca (VA) and will end on the traditional slightly upward finish in via Valcuvia, in Cittiglio (VA), after 140.5 km.

Also in the 2024 edition the route includes an undulating initial stretch (with the Masciago Primo Mountain Grand Prix after 17 km of pedaling and the ascent of Caldana) and five laps of the final circuit, including the climbs of Casalzuigno (Casale) and Orino.

The BePink-Bongioanni selection that will line up at the starting line of the Varese test is made up of Monica Trinca Colonel, Elisa Valtulini (both returning from excellent performances at the Trofeo Ponente in Rosa and Valtulini also from an absolute debut on the Belgian cobblestones, at the Danilith Nokere Koerse Women, more than positive), Selene Colombi, Irene Cagnazzo, Beatrice Pozzobon and Angela Oro.

Oro will return to the group (like his partner Pozzobon) after the fruitful experience in El Salvador, where he achieved excellent results, including winning the White Jersey for Best Young Man at the Tour El Salvador and fourth place at the President Grand Prix.
