BePink-Bongioanni at the Vuelta CV Feminas

Second race in Spain for the Lombard team

After the good debut at the Women Cycling Pro Costa De Almería, the very first part of BePink-Bongioanni’s competitive season continues on the roads of Spain and at the Vuelta CV Feminas, scheduled for Sunday 4 February.

The sixth edition of the UCI category 1.1 race, the second appointment of the Lombard team in 2024, will start from Bétera and end on the white line of València at the end of 93 km.

The route, more demanding in the first part and more “fast” in the second, will include two altitude roughnesses: Oronet (3rd category Mountain Grand Prix) at the start and the more demanding Puerto de la Frontera (1st category), a ” “climb” of 5000 meters with gradients reaching 18%, which will be tackled after about fifty kilometers of the race.

The BePink-Bongioanni selection that will line up at the start of the Vuelta CV Feminas will once again be made up of the Brazilian National Champion Tota Magalhães, Andrea Casagranda, Martina Testa, Prisca Savi and Beatrice Pozzobon. The roster is completed by the Slovak National Champion Nora Jenčušová, making her debut this season.

The team will close the first trip to Iberian soil with the Setmana Ciclista Volta Femenina de la Comunitat Valenciana, a short stage race that will be held from 15 to 18 February.
