Tota Magalhães Brazilian time trial champion

BePink-Bongioanni’s third national title of 2024 has arrived from South America.

After the Slovakian Nora Jenčušová, author of a double success in the time trial and the road race, it was the Brazilian Ana Vitória Magalhães who made her country’s anthem resound, becoming Carioca time trial champion.

Just a whisker away from the podium twelve months ago, in the challenge against time staged in Palmas (Tocantins) over a distance of 19.8 km, the twenty-three year old from Rio de Janeiro hit the “big target”, putting the metal medal around her neck more valuable.

On Saturday Tota Magalhães will hunt for another green-gold jersey (and an encore) in the road race, in which he triumphed in 2023.
